Each year, World Day of Prayer takes place on the same day in churches all around the world. Preparations have already started for the service next year, which is being written by people from Vanuatu. At their first meeting, the traditional Vanuatu vegetable dish 'lap lap' was served. The participants brought gifts to prepare the altar table, decorating it with flowers from their gardens, the Bislama Bible, garland necklaces, and palm weaved baskets and fans.
